SPINOFF TO TATTOO POLL

If anyone in your bridal party has tattoos that will be visible, will you make them cover it up? (or if you have one, will you cover it up?)

One of my GORGEOUS BM's has a HUGE tattoo on her arm that I REALLY want her to cover up for the wedding. I'm just hoping she won't get upset or offended.

I would absolutely asked them to cover it up. I hope to think they would want to cover it also.!!

LUCKILY I wont have to worry about that. but i dont think id make them cover it. I think covering a large one is impossible anyway. If its small then who cares anyway.

None of my BM's have tattoos but even if they did I wouldn't make them cover them up. It's a part of who they are....I don't plan on telling my bridesmaids anything as far as hair, make-up or nails. It's up to them.

I do have 3 tattoo's and depending on what dress I decide to buy and if I plan to wear my hair up or down I may opt to cover 2 of them.

Luckily none of mine do.... My Cousin has one on her wrist but its not a big deal... I don't think any one will see it.

THere are girls in my BP that have tattoos. Some will be visible. Its up to them if they want to cover it up. I prefer if they do, but I'm not going to make them feel uncomfortable about it. its not going to ruin my day if they dont. I do have one that will be visible, on my left shoulder blade. I will be covering it up.

i never really thought about this until i was watching brodezillas last week. i just realized that 2 of my BM's tatoos that will be visible...one on the wrist and one on the shoulder blade i don't know what i'll do. they are not big...guess that's why i'm not freaking out

ETA: i think that if you ask her nicely and ensure her that the cover-up will look good, then i dont think she should get offended...i wouldn't in that case

I would never ask anyone to cover their tattoo. I picked them for who they are tattoos and all.

i would never ask someone to cover up their tat... i think it can come off as a bit rude... I think your bm's should be people you love unconditionally... Just like Im not going to tell them how to do their hair/nails/etc... Its already bad enough they are normally in the same dress, at least let them have something of their own style

One of my BM s(who is a stunning beauty as well) (I love you mel if you are lurking -hihihi) has two prominent tatoos - and - no I wont make her/ask her to cover them up. But maybe I will pose her so the large cross on one of her arms does not show!

I think my MOH is getting a tattoo on her wrist, but I can't ask her to cover hers up cause I'm all tattooed myself. Although only my cosmetic tattoos will be visible that day!!!!!!!

My FH's sister has a HUGE tattoo on her arm and her back. I am not really excited about it but I am making everyone wear boleros. I don't want it to look like it's just her having to cover up.

Noooo. Who am I to dictate how anyone should look? I picked out the dresses and I leave it at that. I have 7 tattoos. Who am I to judge?

no way - i would be offended if someone asked me to cover mine - so i would never ask anyone to cover theirs either....i dont think its a big deal - and i honestly dont think tattoos would 'ruin' pictures - besides after its all said and done with the only pictures you really care about are the ones of you and your FH anyways right?

one of my bb has one on her arm but she has been getting it removed and covers it herserlf... the other bm has one on her wrist... I would never ask them to cover it up... it is what it is
