Re: Spinoff to tear jerker movies
LOVE that movie. I've seen it several times now and just love it more every time. I actually went out last year when it came out on DVD and bought it that day...I never do that. One time I saw it with my Cousin and she was a mess!

I'm the all time sappy emotional person. I cry at the drop of a hat.
Butr for some reason, this movie didn't do it for me. DH and I saw it on a plane going to California once and I didn't care for it at all.

I have to admit, if my DH was home when I was watching it, I probably wouldn't have cried, or maybe just a little bit. for some reason, him not being there made me bawl. he also would have made fun of me for crying

see my post in the other tear jerker thread. DH found me sobbing my eyes out last night watching the end of ET. I didn't live that down the whole night!

If my DH ever gets like that I just pop in some sports movie...like 'The Rookie' or 'Miracle' and he's bawling like a baby.

Re: Spinoff to tear jerker movies
I didn't think I would like it (I don't like sappy love stories) but I watched it and I cried. It was a nice story. I was imagining FH and I growing old together.

I am not a crier usually, but I bawled at the movie, but cried even harder when I read the book. SUCH a good movie.
