While going through that post I had a thought - and please answer truthfully - are any of the ladies having a Nuptial mass also living with their FH's? I don't want to start anything I just think that because some of us are not having a mass or couldn't have a mass does not mean we're not good Catholics. Just like I don't believe pre-marital sex, bc , or living with someone before marriage makes you a bad Catholic.

Re: Spinoff to the Catholic mass post
Well from my post you know that I am still trying to decide whether or not to have a full mass. I do not live with my FH (yes, partially for moral reasons) but if I did, I would still consider the full Mass option. I do not think that I am in a position to JUDGE anyone else on whether or not they are a 'good' Catholic or a 'bad' Catholic.
I live with FH and we are just having the ceremony. Not because of the living situation but because we arent religious at all, and our families dont really care.

Re: Spinoff to the Catholic mass post
I don't live with Fh. We weren't having a mass but when we found out that our Fg ( my niece) could make her communion at our church during our ceremony we choose to have a mass. ( The FG thing is a long story)

Re: Spinoff to the Catholic mass post
Yes I am. I wouldn't have it any other way. Besides the Church would not do just the Ceremony of Marriage w/o the Liturgy of the Eucharist.
And my priest knows we live togehter. I think he's just going with the flow!

Re: Spinoff to the Catholic mass post
FH and I live together and church and priest know this since the mass envelopes are addressed to the both of us. Our priest didn't have a problem with our living together.
I want a mass but FH doesn't (he thinks it's to much time) but right now we have to wait to see if the church can accomodate a mass but they wouldn't prevent us from having one. We attend Sunday mass regularly so that's why I want the mass. Our living together in this day and age is irrelevant.
