so you address the response envelopes to yourself (or your parents)....what address do you put for the return address?

Re: Spinoff to the response card question
Whichever you choose. We want them to go to us since we're managing the guestlist but I think they are going to go to my parent's house since our postman isn't exactly the sharpest tool in the shed.

FH's sister put his parents address even though she didn't live with them.

Re: Spinoff to the response card question
sorry, i mean the actual return address - usually the person who is sending something out puts their address...but you don't leave it to the guests to write in their info, do you?

Re: Spinoff to the response card question
I don't remember how our friends had theirs... I think they put our address (the one that it is addressed to on the outer envelope) as the return address.

Re: Spinoff to the response card question
Anytime I have had to send back the response card, there has been no return address.

Re: Spinoff to the response card question
ok, that's what i was thinking - either i would have to print each person's address as the return address, or i wouldn't put one - it would be weird to have our address as the address to send it to AND the return address, right?

Re: Spinoff to the response card question
I think you leave it blank. Not sure if guests are supposed to fill it out. Can't remember if I ever have!

Re: Spinoff to the response card question
Not planning on adding one for them. I doubt they will put one on either way - it looks prettier with just ours on it :D

Re: Spinoff to the response card question
we left their address off. Some people wrote it on the front of the envelope and some wrote it on the back flap and some didn't write it at all.
