something blue -I wanted to paint my toenails blue but since my mother would kill me because I have open toed shoes I'm probably going to make my underwear or garter blue.
Something Old - My greatgrandma's earrings
Something Borrowed - My great grandma's earrings OR my cousins diamond bracelet could count for this.
Something new - the dress, undergarments, veil, shoes, hair piece, wedding bands. lol basically everything else.
don't forget the sixpence in your shoe!

blue: my favorite part!! my great grandma (who is no longer with us) and my grandma sewed on these little blue bows to the under skirt of my mom's dresss....my mom and my grandma will be taking those bows and swewing them on to mine as well! ...also i did purchase a dress label with our names and date....my e-ring has sapphires in it and fh bought my a beautiful blue topaz ring for xmas that i might be wearing...

ok so question for something old....my Godmother gave me pearls when I got engaged. She said she wants to start a tradition in our family where we give all the newly engaged women some pearls (i got a necklace and earrings). I want to wear them when I get married and since I will have had them for 3 years - do they count as something 'old' or should I think of using something else?
if I use these then.... something old - my pearl necklace and earrings something new - dress and all that stuff something borrowed - I'd like to find a pearl bracelet to complete my set but I haven't asked any of my family members if they have one something blue - I'm thinking about wearing blue shoes or buying those shoes with the blue soles or maybe a blue garter

I've seen brides wrap the rosary around their bouquet... maybe you can incorporate it that way? I think that such a sweet detail.

I have no idea what I'm using for any of this stuff, but I would imagine between my mom and FMIL they have it all figured out already and are just waiting for me to ask. I am planning on wearing something red. Whether it's in my garter, or just red ribbon put somewhere hidden. Superstitious I know, but Red keeps the horns off lol And even though there should only be people who love us there, you can't be too careful!

Something borrowed- I have no idea Something old- I keeping throwin the idea back and forth to wear my mom's wedding gown. I would have to alter it a lot to want to wear it though Hello 1980! So we'll see. I also just came across my grandmothers old charm bracelette. So I think I'm going to wrap it around my bo-K (I guess this could be something borrowed...)
Something blue- I'm thinking blue shoes! Fabulous and you can wear them again! :)
Something new- My DOJ maybe?
