The only time I get to watch TV is late at night...like 11pm rererereruns of SITC or Friends...
I work all day and get home anywhere from 6-9pm and then I have to straighten up a little, walk the dog, put on a load, fold clothes, wash the dishes, change the sheets...and on and on and on...if DH cooks, I have to clean all of that up...I mean dont get me wrong, I dont do this EVERY DAY but most of the days I do. And even on the days that I am home I just ALWAYS have something to do and dont have time to just lay around...I wish I did though...
The only time I make time is for Grey's Anatomy on Thursdays...

You certainly do have a life - a very busy one at that.
I'm in the same boat, and I watch all my 'shows' b/c I TIVO them! I have Cablevision w/the DVR, and record all the shows I want to watch, and watch them when I want.

I get up a little earlier than I need to each AM to change the cat litter, take out the trash, tidy the apartment, wash all leftover dishes before I go to work (we have no dishwasher so it is all by hand ). So at night, it is just a matter of cooking dinner and then washing the dishes after dinner.
If Dh isn't home, I often watch tv while whatever it is I am cooking is sitting in the oven (well convection oven cause our oven doesn't work either ). If I haven't finished all the dished by the time a 'must watch' show comes on (LOST, etc), I do it during commercials

well i dont do ALL that stuff that you do but i work full time and i have stuff i have to do
i DVR EVERYTHING that i ever want to watch - then at night i can watch like 2 shows in a half hour bc there are SO MANY commercials! the only show i watch live is LOST bc thats my favorite show!

It's all about the DVR. I record EVERYTHING. I never get to watch anything in real time with 2 little boys. There are shows that I like and FH does not - so I watch them REALLY early. I get up at the *** crack of dawn for meditation and tv! The stuff we both like we watch together on Friday and Saturday nights when the boys are sleeping.
