Spinoff to who is walking you down the aisle.......
Re: Spinoff to who is walking you down the aisle.......
What if your brother walked your mom down and then just joined the rest of the GMs then?
Re: Spinoff to who is walking you down the aisle.......
Even though your brother is a GM he can still walk your mom down as the family members walk down before the BP. My brother, a GM, walked my mom down in my sister's wedding and I plan on having that done for mine as well.

He can definitely walk your mom down still. Do you have an uneven bridal party? Because that's even better! Than no one has to walk alone!
Re: Spinoff to who is walking you down the aisle.......
I hadn't thought about this omg - my uncle (mom's brother) walked my mom down at both of my sisters' weddings. Now he is very, very ill and god-willing if he makes it to my wedding, he definitely won't be able to walk my mom down the aisle. I have no brothers. No grandfathers. No other uncles on my mom's side. I guess BIL's?
Re: Spinoff to who is walking you down the aisle.......
Your brother can do both, or maybe an Uncle, cousin, any other close male relative?
Re: Spinoff to who is walking you down the aisle.......
I haven't even thought about this. My uncle is walking me down the aisle and my brother is a GM, but I guess I will have my brother walk mom down and then walk with the BP

My brother is walking me down and he is a gm.

I'm having my uncle walk my mom down the aisle... They are each other's only sibling (their parents passed away many many years ago) so we're the only family my uncle has..and he has been a huge part of mine and my sister's life. He has never missed anything and has always been so good to us. Maybe there's someone close in or to your family that you would feel comfortable walking your mom if you don't want your brother doing both?
