Another great author - Jane Hamilton. She wrote 'map of the world,' 'book of ruth' and also this other book about a girl who thinks she is in the civil war and what it does to her family. SOOO funny and excellent!

Hmm. I looove to read. Haven't in a while, really got to get something to read!

I love, love, love To Kill A Mockingbird. I feel that it has such awesome lessons in it.

I also loved The 5 People You Meet in Heaven, Lovely Bones ...

More than fave books I have fave authors. Loved James patterson but am getting a little sick of the pattern .. kinda like Mary Higgins Clark :) I love Patricia Gaffney, Anna Quindlen.
Other books - Anita Shreve's The pilot's wife, SOOO good, Chris Bohjalian's Midwives also excellent... and I really loved wally lamb's I Know This Much Is True.

I have Secret Life of Bees at home and also something by Jody Piccoult I have heard is excellent .. can't remember the name .. something about sisters???

my sister's keeper. great book.

She's Come Undone
Wally Lamb

Running with Scissors
Augusten Burroughs

Those are two that I distinctly remember not being able to put down.

I loved Running with Scissors, but the movie did not do it justice!

Evan Rachel Wood did not do her character justice at all for being a crazy, angst ridden teen!

i know! i was so disappointed when i saw the movie. Although i did like Annette Benning in it

it's AWESOME. seriously. I bought all of her other books after it. I'm a little bummed b/c i'd like to see the movie but I know it just won't compare to the book.
