Spinoff - Where are you having your RD and cost?

Where are you having your RD and what are the avg costs?

Mine is at Snapper Inn, $40/head for sitdown dinner - 3 course meal (does not include alcohol)

FIL's are paying...i just know that its about $45pp, but fmil knows the owner so hopefully he worked with her

sitdown dinner-appetizers which is a combo of things such as stuffed mushrooms, baked clams, and forgot what else. I think salad and 3 entree's, forgot what they all are, but remember that they have my favorite entree from this place which is chicken stuffed with shrimp and crabmeat

there will be open bar

we are too. I am dying to just do a BBQ at my parents, but i think it'll be too much for them the night before the wedding...

we are considering cafe formaggio in westbury; around $34 pp

Why don't you have someone come in and bbq for you. They do all the set up etc and it's about $25 bucks per person! They do the cleanup and set up all the plates etc.

i love this place! i know the owner's daughter, i went to her wedding there and everything was so good! the food is awesome and you're in good hands!! i would have had my RD dinner there if it was closer to me so instead I chose this place PJ's Steakhouse in Forest Hills, with dinner, beer/wine/soda, tax & grat. it comes to $80 pp which is definitely more then what we wanted to spend but we have some out of town guests and close family and friends so we figured we'd do something really nice and just cut back on the bridal party gifts a bit...

I am having mine at Matteos in Bellmore -
Its $46 a head (w/tax and gratuity) - wine and soda
we will pay per drink whoever wants something else - but night before the wedding so it shouldn't be too bad

Corbin & Reynolds about $45 per person which includes unlimited beer and wine

fh is a fireman, so we are planning to have it at his firehouse. It has a bar and a kitchen and is set up really nice. we plan on have family cook, so the only real cost will be the cost of the food.

Honestly...I haven' t put much thought into it!! We can't really have a rehearsal because we are getting married at the hall....so do we even have a RD?? I have no clue...I am sure we will do something.

We are not having the rehearsal but are having the dinner!

BTW - Love Corbin and Reynolds!

ALSO - I think we are getting scre$#&* on our priced because it is $40 and no drinks. It is on the water tho and there is live music etc. and we need a place close to the hotel.
