SPINOFF: Who has tattoos and where?

i have a shamrock on my stomach, a sunflower on my back, a cartoon character on my thigh and i just got a celtic trinity symbol on my back.

A chameleon on my ankle
a fetish on my toe
a scroll design on my other toe
a baby dragon on my thigh
'The Crow' on the small of my back
a tribal band across the back of my waist
a chinese charatcer that repesents the chinese translation of my name over my left pectoral muscle
Angel wings acroos both shoulders

DH has:

St anthony on his left shoulder
the cross from the altar at St Paul's Cathedral (London) on his rigth upper arm
a reaaly wicked gargoyle on his left arm
Two roman bands found on swords from 560BC on boh arms.

Wow, that's a lot of tattoos. I want to get more, but FH isn't too keen on tattoos (so obviously he has none)

It is alot, but I always make sure that I can get them in places where I can cover them for business or for a formal affair.

I drew all of my tattoos & stuff for DH & other friends. I though about becoming a tattoo artist, but I hate the way people freak out all the time when they are getting inked......I just know I couldn't handle it

Is there a specific reason why Jewish religion doesn't accept tattoos? I remember hearing that if you have a tattoo you can't be buried in a Jewish cemetery. Can anyone explain? I always like to learn new things

doesn't it have something to do with not being allowed to permanently alter your appearance. (what god gave you)

I have 2-
(big) sunflower- lower right hip
black tribal butterfly- across whole left ankle.

and so far i haven't regretted them at all!! I especially love my butterfly.
