It is considerate that all the men wear them. They usually do, but if they don't grab one its not that big of a deal.
probably, in our case, just the jewish men. my grandfather doesn't want to wear one and my dad won't either. i am not one to enforce religion on other people so whomever wants to wear one can.
I would think that only the Jewish men would take one...but some others might. I don't think it should be a big deal.
It's just that I'm wondering how many i should buy... it's a big # difference between buying for just Jewish men, and buying for all the men. I guess i'll pick a # in between.
My guess is that most men if they are offered one will wear it. If they are just in a basket on the side they may not take it.
I would just pick a number that you feel is correct. Not even all Jewish men may wear them. I am only going to order about 50 or so of them (for about 200-225 guests) and put them in a basket with an 'optional' sign on the basket. This way whoever wants to wear one can and nobody feels obligated.
Same situation - I would get for all the jewish men and about half of the other men - realize also, that some women may want to take one as a momento - I usually do!
We are purchasing about 2 dozen, whoever wants one can grab one, but my family has expressed they dont feel comfortable wearing one. There will only be about a dozen of his family members there that would wear one
I just asked my FH (we're having interfaith, he's the Jewish one) and he said that for us, probably just him. Since ours is at the hall and not a temple, it's not important to him so we're not going to be providing them for the guests.
