I made an appt. at the V spa in Garden City to do a Brazilian Bikini wax on the Satruday of my wedding weekend.
Will there be a lot of swelling? My wedding is on Monday and I dont want that to interfere iwth anything if you know what i mean
My honeymoon is not until 3 days after the wedding though.

Will this be the first time you're waxing? If so, a week before is fine. Otherwise, I went three days before and was fine.

Have you ever done it before? The recommend no 'activities' for at least 24 hours. The first time, I was sore for two days I think.

I've only had the bikini done, but except to be sore and have red bumps all over your skin for about 24 hours after - maybe more for brazilian.
ETA: it's different for everyone. Just have baby oil at home to help decrease the swelling and take 2 advil b4 you go to the spa (within an hour of the appt).

i think you should be okay. they sell something called jin jang creme that is very helpful. and of course the ibuprofen that was mentioned.
