...what are you having them do with the train during the reception? I am afraid they will get stepped on on the dance floor.

...edited for spelling- I am such a nerd.

Do you mean a little train? or Just a train in general. I am having my girls with a train that lag a little behind them...I don't think it will interfere. Do you have any pics?

You need to bustle them!

My girls are wearing this skirt... it has a small bow on the back that has the hook to bustle it.

They all loved the idea of having trains.

I was a BM with a train. The bride did not want a bustle. There is now a gaping hole in the dress. It was stepped on all night to the point where I couldnt walk. I just kept hearing it tear. Nice dress but I would have bustled.

That's exactly what I'm trying to avoid. One of my BMs had that experience in a wedding she was in last summer. I want my girls to be able to shake their booties without worrying about their dresses getting stepped on!

I wasn't that crazy about the idea of the BM dresses having a train anyway, but I love this dress! So I asked the girls to have the train chopped off (shortened to the length of the front of the dress) since most will have to get the dress hemmed anyway. I was just wondering what other people were doing. Thanks for the opinions!
