Some people just don't know what is & isn't appropriate to ask. The part that KILLS me is when you ask a Q in return, they don't like to answer....

I love her, but she is so caught up in money and her lack of it that she has to ask people how much they spent on things. She once complimented one of my other friend' s new Coach bag and asked how much it was. Why not just go to the coach website and see?
i agree with the last part completely. but i have a worse one, i hate it when people at work will compliment your new bag and then go to the coach website to see how much it is. especaiily when you can see that person's computer screen and they don't even try to hide that they are looking. why do you need to know?? oy, it drives me nuts.

Yeah, at least wait until you get home or the person is not near you.
Some people just feel so inadequate they have to be nosey.

the worst is when people have asked me 'you are married' and I'm like yes, what age did you get married? and then I say 22 and then they say, wow that was young. Who cares, I felt ready and so we did.

followed by either:
'Dont worry, you'll change your mind'
or
'Then why bother gettting married?'
Not everyone is cut out to be parents and I guess Im wrong that I thought marriage was about love

I know...i did have a little revenge...some other people in my office heard her make this comment...and its kind of spread through the office...and no one really talks to her anymore
