Spitz and Peck
So I went to spitz and peck yesterday with my momma for our florist quote. I was sooo freaking nervous cause all i heard about them were that they were the best, but most expensive florist on LI! (just an aside, i HAVE to use them or stephans for flowers at my RH otherwise pay a huge fee which stinks i know!) Anyways we met with the owner, Bobby. Holy crap he was the nicest man! There show room is GORGEOUS!
So after spending about TWO hours with him, he showed us around, in the back where they make the pieces, the offices the stock room, it was crazy! we finally spoke about the money! I was in love with this tree centerpiece with three spheres of flowers in fall colors that they had on display. I asked if that was in my budget and he said yes. Then we spoke for about an hour about what I wanted and if it would be better to do all tress vs some tress and some soild spheres (that match the mini spheres on the trees). I spoke to his son who is a designer, Brian, who made everything perfectly clear. So he worked within my budget and included everything i needed and wanted. They also said we could come the day before the wedding when the pieces are being made to make sure EVERYTHING is how we want it (my mom is SUPER picky!)
We didn't sign with him yet because we want to go to Stephans, but I LOVED THEM! He even gave us a large bunch of flowers to take home :)
So my little rave is just to let you girls know, that Spitz and Peck is not a fortune, they really work with you and I really had soooo much fun there (and i dont even like flowers!)
