the first one is very pretty, but will you ever wear it again? I the second one is perfect. I voted steal.

Re: Splurge v. Steal
Unless your going to ever wear it again, I wouldnt suggest the splurge. You cant really wear pearls with everything.. UNLESS you want to keep it to remember your wedding day.. thats a different story.

Jess, the 1st one is gorgeous but pricey. The second one is nice but looks a little dull... I voted that you should find a happy medium somewhere between these two.

I love the one for $400 after seeing that one the way I am I wouldn't be able to by the other.
I would keep looking for something maybe in a mid price range.

I love the first one...if you have the money for it...i would say go for it. I am not a fan of wearing 'cheap' jewelry on my wedding day and I will personnally cut costs elswhere if I have to. JMHO

Ok - everyone is going to hate me and I'm a really bad influence when it comes to jewelry, BUT . .. I would say splurge.
It's something you will always have and you CAN wear that again. You can also pass it down or have your daughter/granddaughter wear it on their wedding day.

SPLURGE - especially on a piece like that, you can wear it over and over again.

I love pearls. I would wear them again and again. If you are the same, then you should get the first.

I like them both, but $400 is a lot to only wear it once, unless you think you'd wear it alot after the wedding.
I've had these two saved for a while b/c I love them and both are around $60 (happy medium)!
I love them both. But for $400 thats crazy! $14.99 sounds and looks great and I think it'll go perfect wiht your dress.

The splurge is beautiful, but I could never see spending that much money. The steal is a great price, but def not as nice. I voted for finding a happy medium!!

Jess, I voted for the Happy Medium!
By the way, I was in Banana Republic last night (5th Avenue and 52nd Street - NYC) and they have something almost EXACT to the first bracelet (splurge) - I believe it was $48...I tried it on, and it was absolutely beautiful...
I'll check their website for ya!

Re: Splurge v. Steal
thanks ladies. and thanks Jess. those are really gorgeous. I am just having so much trouble finding inexpensive, yet not cheap. jewelry to match my dress....but it has a lot of gold (or will when it's done) tone in it, so I really can't do a white pearl or silver....or can I? I feel a spinoff coming on.
thanks again...and oh yeah, thanks to Hollie, b/c I never would have spotted the steal without her post about Lenox!0
