Sports Topic...Is anyone upset there isn't a hockey season?
We had season tickets for the first time this year and I was looking forward to seeing a professional hockey game. Just wondering if anyone else was upset about this?

fh is very upset about this...the only way he gets his hockey fix is Playstation.

my dh will be depressed when football season is over and he has NOTHING. said he's going to get into basketball (ugh no, the one sport I cannot bring myself to watch)
and I was going to get him Ranger tickets this year too... guess i got out of that one.

there is a lock-out this year - there was talk of getting the season started again this month, but i haven't heard anything new since i heard that.

A little but in a way relived because FH and his brother have season tickets to the Rangers and I get worried with him in the city all the time late at night all Hockey season long.

I was VERY upset! One of my first dates with FH was to an Islanders game and I was looking forward to going to games with him and his family this year.

im surprised my dh is not crying himself to sleep that his beloved islanders arent playing. he also has season tickets and is very upset. he is getting his fix by watching old games
