Spot, the White House dog, died

I was watching CNN and there was a cute eulogy about Spot, who was the President's dog. It was cute (as far as eulogies go) because there was a picture of him with '1989-2004' underneath. He had a couple of strokes and had to be put to sleep today. Regardless of how I feel about George Bush, my heart does go out to him and his wife. As a fellow pet owner, I know that this was a difficult decision and Spot will be missed.

Interesting fact: Spot was born in the White House in 1989 to Millie, George and Barbara Bush's dog when they lived there.

Regardless of how I feel about George Bush, my heart does go out to him and his wife. As a fellow pet owner, I know that this was a difficult decision and Spot will be missed.

same here. although i will keep my views aside, i feel bad for them. i remember when millie had her litter and therewas even a book about them. it was cute.
