Re: SPOTTING
I had 2 different episodes, one at 6 weeks and then again at 9 weeks. It was scary, but not heavy. At 9 1/2 weeks, I was able to hear the heartbeat, and things were fine.

Re: SPOTTING
I heard the heartbeat at 6 weeks at my first sono so Im sure things are okay. My Dr's office reassured me it is normal
but I guess I was curious why and what from?

Re: SPOTTING
When I went for my first sono at 6 weeks my gyn told me I had an area of blood near my cervix from where the embryo implanted-he said it would either be absorbed into my uterus or it would pass and I would have light spotting. It ended up being absorbed but maybe that's what yours is.

Re: SPOTTING
I had spotting from weeks 6-8. I didn't know I was pregnany yet, so I thought I was getting AF - boy was I wrong! Everything with me has turned out wonderfully so far, so you should have nothing to worry about!

Re: SPOTTING
I spotted and cramped on Saturday then miscarried. As long as youve heard the heartbeat everything should be ok

Re: SPOTTING
I have been spotting on and off since week 4 to present! The dr. cannot find any reason for the spotting, and it actually more brownish than red (sorry - gross). And we have seen the heartbeat twice - I will be 12 weeks tomorrow.

Soon2bemommy if you are spotting make sure to call you doctor right away so they can make sure everything is ok. I know my doctor told me if I spot to call asap. Let us know how you're doing.

Re: SPOTTING
I had some light spotting for several days in the beginning too. The dr didn't give me any explanations for it. I think some women just have this.

Re: SPOTTING
yes, i am further along, I am 9 weeks. And it happened again today (only once and very very slight pink). my drs office told me that it could be a sign of 'over' doing it, which I find hard to believe for me being that all I do is lay around because I have no energy But I guess it could be stress? I have extremely mild cramping, but I've had that since before I knew I was pregnant. Other than that I feel fine. I'm gonna call my drs office again next week to see if they can get me in for a sono for peace of mind on my part

Re: SPOTTING
I also spotted a couple of times around week 7 and again at week 9. Actually it was more than spotting. I went and got checked, but there was no explanation. They just said some women spot in the beginning. I also had mild cramping. I thought for sure I was miscarrying, but it ended up being my uterus stretching. I'm sure everything's fine, but go to the Dr's if that'll make you feel better. I know I did! Keep us updated!
