Has anyone ever gotten a spray tan? I'm not sure how long it lasts and if it's streaky or not? Also does it run if you sweat?
Just wondering if it's practical for the wedding, especially with a white dress.

Re: Spray Tan?
my friend (also a bride) and i were just talking about this the other day. She does it frequently and suggested i do it!! Apparently it doesn't rub off or anything, it just comes off with time & exfoliation. I'm going to do a trial run just to see. You do need to be careful where you go. Definitely go on recommendation!! Hope that helps

Re: Spray Tan?
My fsil got one a day before her wedding and it got all over her dress even though its not supposed to run..so my suggestion would be to get it done a few days earlier than wedding!

Re: Spray Tan?
I got a spray tan for my wedding day. I went to Beach Bum and got the custom airbrush tanning. It was excellent. It looked very natural and even. It was HOT on my wedding day- 80 degrees and sunny. A little bit of the tan came off on the inside of my dress but nothing on the outside of it and nothing that would make me not want to get a spray tan. And it washed right off when I jumped in the ocean for my TTD shoot!

I went to Beach Bum also and I think it was called the Mystic Tan. Whatever it was I liked it and it wasn't streaky at all. It lasted almost a week too.

Are those the booths? I always find them to be streaky. I made sure I had someone spray me by hand.

Yea they're the booths. I've tried other booths and found them to be streaky but this one I was actually happy with. I also have had someone do it by hand and got streaky..ughh it's hit or miss with spray tanning it really depends

Re: Spray Tan?
I've been going to tanning salons for about 5 years now. There are 2 types of 'spray tans'. There is the Mystic tan & there is an airbrush tan.
I have done the mystic tan which I do not recommend for a wedding. 1st of all you cant shower for about 6 hours after you get it done & it smells. If it misses a spot on your body it is completely obvious. I accidentally put the booties on my feet instead of just standing on them like i was supposed to and it looked like i had white boots on my feet. The tan stopped at my ankle & looked ridiculous. lol
I have never done the airbrush tan but I have heard many good things about it. I actually won a free airbrush tan at TWOTY and haven't used it yet. A person physically sprays you from head to toe with an airbrush machine getting every inch of your body.
Either way I would def do a trial before the wedding to see what you like better
