Spray Tan

Spray Tan

Can any recommend a spray tan person? I've done the booths before, and I think I really want to use a person this time. Nassau or close to Nassau would be preferred. Thanks!

Re: Spray Tan

I've used Beach Bum custom airbrush tanning in Queens and they were excellent. Very reasonably priced and it is a person who spays you. I'm sure they have some locations in your area. HTH!

I also just used Beach Bum for my bpics and they were great. I went in Huntington Station but I know they have locations in Nassau as well!

How much is spray tan from beach bum? I heard sometimes they can get expensive.

I'm going for a spray tan this week at Del Sol in Mineola. They charge $35, which I thought wasn't bad. It will be my first spray tan, hopefully it comes out good

$35 for first time tanners including all the extras (moisture lock and something else) and $45 after that.

Does it come out okay after the first? Or did you go twice for a trial run.. then the actual tan?

Thanks ladies - I'm going to look into it.

How long does your tan usually last? And does it slowly fade away or can it great streaky? TIA!

It came out great after the first. You can see my teasers on the facebook page... That is from one time. (You saw how pale I am in the pole class)

I am going to use the other one for the weddinG!

You did have really good color... hmn... that might be a good option. I'm thinking when it comes closer to the wedding, I'll need it for EPICS, BPICS, and the day.

About a week, 10 days tops. I did notice it getting a little streaky around my feet during the end of my HM, but nothing noticeable that would stop me from getting sprayed again.

Thanks! I'm in a friend's wedding next weekend and want to use it as a trial run for my wedding. Didn't want to do it the day before I fly out, but wanted to make sure it will still be there.

Re: Spray Tan

I used beach bum for my e-party, i did the airbrush custom. It came out pretty good, but a little dark, their are pictures in my album. ( I went to the forest Hills location) But it did not last, and i paid for the pre and post spray. It lasted maybe 2 days before it started to peal. I like the booth better, its not as even but it lasts way longer, I guess it depends on what you are using it for. Also I couldn't get a sun tan with the airbrush tan on.

You started to peel?! It's a spray tan, not a real tan. If you started to peel it's from an actual tan you had! And the airbrush tan has NO SPF in it, they drilled that in my pasty brain!

You can peel...well its not your skin its the way the solution is coming off. Some fade, some streak and some can have a peeling affect. When it gets like you should use a body scrub and it should come right off.

I recommend Brazil Bronze in Great Neck.

You have to remeber this -- every skin type is different so the way it takes to you, the length of time it lasts, etc. will be different for each person and may not be identical after each session. Your prep before you go and your daily routine will affect all of this too.
