Spray Tan

I have a wedding to go to in a couple weeks and I'm thinking of doing my first spray tan. Any reviews or recommendations on where to go?

Spray Tan

I like the one at Hollywood Tans. I get the one without the bronzer in it ( I do it a day or so before the actual event since the bronzer is mostly what will run off in your clothes). I've never really had an issue with it rubbing on what I wear, other than maybe slightly on why I actually wore after getting it done, and that may be because I didn't dry it or wipe it enough.

I've done the mystic tan booth. Definitely do it a day or 2 before. I went to some local tanning salon to try it out.

Re: Spray Tan

It's a booth, I don't have it in me to stand there naked while somebody sprays me down lol

Spray Tan

I've done it twice and while they say it won't look orange.. in person I LOVED how I looked but then looking in pictures I think now that I looked a bit Oompa Loompa-ish so definitely try it ahead of time. Mine lasted maybe a good week (with swimming n showering). I had gotten a deal for Pink Sands in the city through LifeBooker. They have awesome deals. I had the person spray me because I was afraid of having a 'FRIENDS' moment (anyone remember that episode with Ross and the tanning booth?!).

Definitely have it done by a person, not a booth. This way they can make sure you have even coverage and no streaks. You don't have to be completely naked if it makes you uncomfortable, I usually wear a thong. Also do it a couple days in advance so the color won't come off so easily when you sweat(so Thursday for a Saturday wedding etc.).

I agree with Having someone spray you and not a booth. I had awful streaks And made the mistake of doing it 2 days before my epics and I looked orange. :( luckily our photographer wAs able to minimize it with Photoshop.

Any idea of where to go to have it done by a person that is reasonably priced? I've heard beach bum tanning has an option to do both types, person spraying you as well as booth- anyone use them? They usually have coupons for buy one custom spray tan get one free.. I'm thinking of doing it for the wedding since we're march and I will be one pastey bride.. but I will definitely be doing a trial run beforehand to see how it will look/wash off

Yes Beach Bum does airbrush, but I think you need to call ahead to make an appointment. They're pretty good.
