anyone have a good place for spray tanning? i need to get a little bit of color before my friend's wedding next saturday, but i don't want to look like i've baked in the sun for 2 months...
Anyone know where i can just get some subtle color? Looking for a place that does airbrush and makes sure it looks perfect.
BTW - I live in Farmingdale, so preferably somewhere not too far.
TIA!!!!!!!

Re: spray tanning
I won the free tan from Suvara at TWOTY, but I have yet to use it only because I need to have a free afternoon where I'm not gonna work out and where I don't need to shower until the next morning!
I have heard amazing things about them though, and I think they have a bunch of location on LI!
I've never done it yet but I want to soon!

This! I go to the one on Deer Park Avenue in Deer Park and use Christine or Christina??? Cant remember....but she does a great job! First time I went I was petrified and told her to do the lightest color possible...it wasnt too dark at all! Just gave me a beautiful glow =)

Not at all! $35 for first time tanners (including toner and moisturizer), $45 after that and then the toner/moisturizer is extra.

Re: spray tanning
It lasts a good week and a half/2 weeks if you maintain properly.
Before you go, you need to shower, shave and exfoliate your entire body. This is very important!
Once you go and get sprayed you cant shower for 8-12 hours. I go in the evening so I sleep with it on (put towels on the bed because its a little messy =).
Shower in the morning. The key is to use a sensitive/unscented body wash for the next couple weeks. Regular body washes have alcohol in them and this will start to remove the tan faster. You have to wash with your hands or a washcloth. Dont use the exfoliating sponge.
You should also moisturize often. This will help it to stay longer as well.

Does it wear evenly? Like if I was to do it prior to my wedding will it get blotchy during my honeymoon?

If I do this lets say 3 days before the honeymoon...will it stain my white dress?

Yes, I feel it wears very evenly. I havent experienced blotchiness. It seems to just lighten over time. Though DO NOT do the spray booth..I looked ridiculous. SOOO blotchy and kinda orange...I recommend only having someone manually spray you with an airbrush gun.
I would definitely do a trial run at some point though! At least a month or two before your wedding to make sure.

I havent had any issues with it coming off on my clothing. Maybe severe sweating might do something but Im not sure.
I am getting married on a Friday and plan to get the airbrush tan on Tuesday night.
