Square Invitations

Square Invitations

Hey there..We are leaning towards a square invitation. What is the deal with postage? I know it is more but do you bring it to the post office and weigh it and then they tell you how much it is per envelope? How much more is it typically?
Thanks!!

I had square invites - with all inserts and envelopes - I only needed on stamp - 60 or 63 cents (can't remember).

The best thing to do, is to put one together fully and go to the post office to weigh it. It would be dreadful it you put all the time and money into invites only to have them all returned with that big red insuff postage stamp on them. From what I have heard, the more heave, bigger ones are usually about 87 cents.

My invites were square, only 60 cents. They were not that heavy. If you have a lot of inserts, it will add up quickly.

Mine were square and were only 60 cents to mail

My invites were square with response and 2 direction cards. I would say it was about average weight. It was only 60 cents to send.

My invites were square, duchess invitations- they were very big and I had a response card & a direction card- no reception card as we were married on-site, it was $0.60

Have them weighed.

Re: Square Invitations

it depends on how much they weigh...if they are light...it looks like they would be $.60 ($.37 + $.23)

if they are heavy they may be $.83 ($.37 + $.23 + $.23)

I hope that this is correct...but look for yourself...

look at nonmachinable surcharge
