Squirrel invasion

for those with chimneys in their houses, make sure your cap is on tightly - a squirrel crawled down my chimney and was running around the house!!! Good thing I have a dog and he chased him around until we could get a door open to get the squirrel out!

Re: Squirrel invasion

my dog is still sniffing around the entire house - he is so mad that a squirrel got into his house!! My grandmother lives with us, and I thought she was going to have a heart attack. when my dog was chasing him, the squirrel knocked over a bunch of pictures on our table in the living room, but no other damage. We barricaded the fireplace (we have just one of those wire gate things that is removable-no glass doors or anything on the fireplace) and called a chimney guy.

Its definitely a funny story looking back on it!

Re: Squirrel invasion

I am LMAO!! I have this mental picture of you and your dog running around like lunatics chasing a squirrel with your grandmother cheering you on

and my dog is not that much bigger than a squirrel anyway....he thinks he is so tough but he is a little dog. it was pretty funny.

Re: Squirrel invasion

Nice! FI's dobey has been going nuts today over this squirrel that keeps coming in the yard! If there was one in the house, she'd go berzerk!!!

Re: Squirrel invasion

the squirrel was so scared (we had the back door open bc we didnt want the dog to go running out the front yard after it - he's well trained but i didn't want to take the chance!) that it went running at the window (which wasn't open) and bounced right off...

im making myself laugh now!!
