Hello have any girls got married there? Who was your priest? Did everything go smoothly..just wondering what their policy is. I have an appt to sit down with montsenniour (sorry for spelling!) Brennan.I have met him before and my FH was an alter boy for him way back when..he seems very nice..Anyway just wondering if they have any certain policys that I should be aware of before I sit down with them..TIA!

Everyone at St. Agnes is wonderful...... I cantor there and sing in the choir there, so i can tell you personally if the music is important to you, you will not find better organists or cantors anywhere else on LI! they're awesome musicians and great people!
Msgr. Brennan is very nice.... He is probably one of my favorite priests there and always gives nice homilies.
I am not getting married there, but I don't think the requirements will be different there then any other catholic church... you will have to attend pre-cana and I believe the fee for the musicians is $250.00... not sure if that comes out of the donation or if it's a separate fee, but as i said before it's well worth it. also, the outside of the cathedral is very spacious and there are beautiful grounds near the rectory and parish center that will make nice pictures.
