Re: st. aidan's brides
I haven't met with any music directors yet, but I also haven't tried to call them yet- I was going to give it a few more weeks. Who is presiding over your wedding? Have you tried leaving them a direct message? I know that we have to meet with father bruno again before the rehearsal to go over what he wants to say....Did you schedulel your rehearsal yet?
Also, I think the scaffolding is still there and that the estimate is early october for the work to be finished. Hopefully they will be done sooner- otherwise I think you have the recieving line and exit through the side garden entrance.

I am a St. Aidan's bride. I think I did the music selection just a few weeks before the wedding. I called the music director, Drago Bubalo (sp?), to set up an appt. and he got back to me within a day or two. He will give you a book of music selections to look through and you just pick what you want. I knew before I went into the meeting what I wanted played for the processional and the recessional etc. We added a trumpet and so he helped us pick ceremony music appropriate for that. The day of the wedding we were so pleasantly surprised, because in additon to the trumpet, there was also an instrumentalist and Drago played the piano. The music was so beautiful during our ceremony. St. Aidan's was really fantastic during our planning. Good luck.

I love Father Bruno!
I have heard that the Musical Director is a little flaky. I would just keep trying and leaving messages!

I am a St. Aidan's bride and also a member of the handbell choir. Drago is difficult to get a hold of so be persistant. I know he was traveling to his home country (Croatia) so I don't know if he is home yet.
FM me if you need more help. Also call the rectory and ask when he will be back so you will know to call then.
