St Anthony really works!!!!!!!!!!

I found my engagement ring! I had lost it on Saturday... I was sitting in my car and took it off for a second and it slipped and I dropped it... i knew it was under the driver's seat in my car somewhere, but I tried and tried and tried to find it but I couldn't even see it under there... FH tried, I tried, even FH's dad and aunt tried... none of us could even see it, never mind actually get to it.

Then, a day or two ago I saw a post from someone else who lost their engagement ring, and somebody said to say a prayer to St. Anthony to get it back... so today I figured, hey, the worst that happens is I feel foolish (I was getting pretty desperate) So I went back out to my car and just kept reciting 'help me St. Anthony, help me St. Anthony' (keep in mind I'm Jewish, btw, my parents would be horrified, but whatever, if it works!), and I was about to give up when I finally saw it under the seat! It took a few minutes to dig it out, but I've got it, it's out!

ahhhhh!!!!!!!!!! I'm literally so relieved that I'm crying. You can say if you want that it's just that things got moved around as I was looking, and that's fine... but I say, it certainly didn't hurt! Thanks to whoever suggested it!

omg, you have NO idea!

This has been such an awful week, wedding wise... I lost the ring, and we're having some complicated issues with our officiant... so finding it was just such a HUGE relief... it feels like 'okay, maybe this means that things will start going a little bit better.'

I have a St. Anthony charm that I keep in my car..... I joke and say that I leave him there so I will never lose my car!!

Never under estimate the power of a Saint!!! As foolish as it may seem... if you are genuine in what you are asking for, help will be there for you!!

i'll tell you, St. Anthony has NEVER failed me. i have lost my e-ring, my passport, my teaching certificate, and other important items and my man Anthony has always hooked me up!

if you were me, my very devout Catholic mother would have made me send in a donation to the St. Anthony's society or extra money into the church. As my mom says, 'No favor left unreturned.'

Why not start a Jews for St. Anthony club?

Yes he does - never doubt his power! My Mom and I have numerous stories... and he never lets us down.... but as Mom always reminds me - always be sure to say a thank you prayer!!!
