I am considering having my wedding in August 2010. My FH's parish is St. Chris in Baldwin and we are looking to have our ceremony there. Does anyone know if St. Chris has air conditioning in the church?? I'm just wondering in case it is an exceptionally hot day in August.

I don't know about the air conditioning but I just wanted to say that its a beautiful church. I'm getting married there in Nov 09.

I agree! it is a beautiful church and I would love to get married there. I think an August wedding would be great for one of the halls that I'm considering (Old Field Club)..but I am just concerned that the church won't have air conditioning. I'm imagining the worst -- what if it's 100 degrees that day!..I don't want to be dying of heat in the church if they don't have air conditioning. If anyone knows, please let me know. Thanks!

I was in a wedding this July at St. Chris and it was air conditioned....I didn't sweat at all!!!!!

Thanks so much! I think it would be great to have an August wedding, but I was just concerned about being too hot in the church if they didn't have a/c. Thanks again!
