S**T For Brains

I knew I was having a shower, but everything else was a surprise (Where & When). I spoke with my cousin who is also my BM yesterday and she decides to tell me that she got my invitation in the mail...I go 'WHAT ' She goes..'your shower invitaton' I go 'That was supposed to be a surprise ' She goes 'Oh I didnt know.' She has a history with ruining Bridal Shower surprises! Her BF told her sister 2 years ago about her BS! I don't understand how she could do that. I don't know when or where..BUT STILL!! M MOTHER WAS MADDDDD! I felt so bad for my mother, but I kept saying I still don't know when it is....

Would anyone else be as upset as I am

No offense to your cousin...but she's an idiot. Shes a BM...she should have known the details of the shower and that it was a surprise!!!!! GRRRR I totally understand why you are upset!

I kind of would be upset, as much as i am going ot be helping put things together for my own bridal shower, i still wont know the date or anything..so i would be a little upset, but i would get over it quick.

Don't dwell on it, i am sure she feels horrible, and it's really no big deal. You are going to have a great time anyway right?

Yeah...I won't hold a grudge, but part of me feels she did it on purpose...long story....I still don't know when

My friend told me but didnt say where and when. I am not made I knew they were having one anyway. I would of been made if they were not going to have one. Didnt you know they were going to have one anyway? or was that too a suprise?

ETA: im in charge of booking my own... i didnt want a surprise... i think its silly... how many are actually truly surprised...then you have to put on that fake 'face of shock' mom will be handling everything else but ill know when n where

That's what my aunt said that she might have just slipped...I don't know...I'm not as upset as I was yesterday...but it still bothers me..My FH goes 'How doesn't she know it was a surprise--I even knew (meaning that he knows and he's a guy)

I don't think it's silly...some girls liked to be surprised and that's what I wanted. Some girls don't want to be surprised...I feel that whatever the bride wants is how everyone should treat it so if my BM thought it was silly it's still not for her to ruin it for me. I know this isn't a huge thing compared to other wedding drama, but I was looking forward to not knowing the full details. Like I said before I still don't know when or where so its not a total disappointment
