There are no direct flights there. Some stop in Miami, some in PR.

Re: St Lucia
If you are going to Sandals try to connect through San Juan you are a lot closer to the resort-if you change in Miami you are going to the larger airport that is over an hour away from Sandals Grande
ETA: The trip to the bigger airport is crazy and you'll need dramamine!

Re: St Lucia
I stop in PR and fly into the airport 15 mins from the Sandals Grande. We needed to stop in PR though because we are taking a cruise out of there on our way back.
HTH!

Re: St Lucia
We also stopped in PR, but we made the most of it on the way back and stayed Puerto Rico for 4 days before going home. We wound up liking it even better than St. Lucia, so we were really glad we did it on the way home.

Re: St Lucia
Yes PR is closer and less CRAZY! Miami is like a shopping mall// Thats what it reminded me of. St Lucia is great though You will love it!

Re: St Lucia
The flight we're going to book (Delta) stops in Atlanta. There are no direct flights to St. Lucia. ONLY big jets fly into UVF airport, the one that's about an hour 1/2 away, they DO NOT fly into the small airport that is closer to Sandals. Only little 'puddle jumpers' fly into that airport.

Re: St Lucia
The only thing I've dealt with about Air Jamaica was that they're not partnering up with Delta anymore with their flights there (that's how my tix got all screwed up).
But they are flying there independently, non-stop.

Re: St Lucia
I thrid that. We flew to PR and the layover was two hours, but we got to go outside the ariport for some air and smokes. It goes by fast. Its worth not having to travel an hour from the Grande to the airport that takes you to Miami. We heard from lots of people that that wasnt a fun ride,
