I know that many girls on here go to Sandals but its just too out of our budget...I read wonderful things about Coconut Bay Resort and Spa from trip advisor and I am getting an AMAZING PRICE...but have any of YOU girls heard anything about this place? stayed there?...TIA!!!

FH & I stayed there for a short vacation 2 years ago. Its nice but def not a place like sandals. We went off season (Oct ) and it was empty. Food was ok...not gourmet but not terrible. I think though you could find a more upscale place for your HM that might fit into your budget.

We stayed at the Halcyan which was the cheaper one. It was not as nice as the other more expansice ones but you can go visit the other ones. We acutally like it better b/c it was smaller and the food was better.

I liked the Halycon better too. Much quieter and relaxing compared to the other 2, IMO.

We just booked out St. Lucian honeymoon today!
We're totally anti-Sandals... so we did our research.
We're staying the first 5 nights at Almond Morgan Bay and then 5 nights at Ladera. Ladera is pricey, but it's uber luxusious and if you can't splurge on the honeymoon, when can you ?!?!?

Just to let you know...I was on th sandals website a couple of weeks ago and there was a crazy sale...like 55-60% off your stay! I dont know how often they have the sales or if its still going on but it might be something to look into if your concerned with the price.

I liked the Halycon better too. Much quieter and relaxing compared to the other 2, IMO.
