I went at the end of August and stayed at la toc and it was great. I think there was rain for maybe a half hour when we first got there but other then that just overnight. We got the basic room and it was nice, we were barely in it because we were enjoying the rest of the resort. In my opinion there were no cons!

I am staying at La Toc in May, but a friend went on her honeymoon to The Grande St. Lucian the last week of July into early August, and I think she said it rained once or twice, but it is kind of like Florida- It rains REALLY hard for like five/ten mins in the late afternoon, and then it stops and the sun comes back out like it never even happened haha
That very brief rain a few times a week was just what I was hoping for, but our travel agent made it sound a lot worse than that... There was a lot that looked good there, if that's all the rain there is it's definitely staying high up on our list of possibilities.
