st lucia girls

Hi Ladies!
I am about to book my hm and am hoping you can help me.
FH is insistant on an all inclusive, so we decided on Sandals St Lucia. I then found Ladera and convinced him to say in a non all-inclusive for 2 or 3 nights before Sandals.
My question is for those of you who have been there- what is the food situation? Should we eat there? Is it pricey? Did you venture on to the island at all for dinner or culture?
Any St Lucia or ladera info would be appreciated!!
TIA

Hi Robyn,

My FH and I just booked the second 1/2 of our HM last week (6 nights at St. Lucia's Sandals Regency La Toc) and I can't wait. My FH did weeks of research and it received rave reviews. We booked the Millionaire Suite there and it's all inclusive.

The suite we booked is the first pic that comes up when you open the page. Not sure how crazy you wanna get, but you should def check it out. It has a private butler and pool/jacuzzi with killer views. Plus, it's not only all inclusive for the Regency La Toc, but for the other 2 Sandals resorts on the island as well. And if you get one of the upper suites room service is included too if you want to enjoy a romantic private meal. I haven't gone there, but we've read countless reviews on Trip Advisor raving about the food. Let me know if you need any other info. I hope this helps!

We spent 3 nights at Ladera, and it was absolutely amazing! The food at Dasheen, their restaurant, was out of this world. Dinners tend to be a bit pricey, but no more expensive than a nice dinner out in NY. Breakfast is free, and it includes a wide variety of foods - eggs any way you'd like, panckes, fruit, cheeses pastries, cereals, etc.- just about anything, and as much as you'd like of it! They also offer a complimentary afternoon tea with finger sandwiches and snacks. So really, pretty much all you need to pay for is dinner and drinks so it doesn't work out to be too bad. If you happen to be there on a Tuesday, they have a Manager's Cocktail Party which includes free alcoholic drinks and lots of appetizers. I can't say enough great things about Ladera!

We spent 4 nights at Sandals Regency, and if you'd like my opinion on that feel free to FM me.
