We're staying at Sandals Grande - sooooooooo excited!!! I'm also happy that we can go to the other two resorts in case we want to try different food, etc.

Yup, Sandals Grande is all inclusive as are all the other Sandals resorts - it includes food, transportation to/from airport, drinks, all sports including motorized, golf, events, etc. My favorite part is that it's all couples/adults only.

If you're staying at any of the Sandals St. Lucia resorts, you can visit the other two and go to their restaurants. I think there's a shuttle that goes between the three every hour or maybe more frequently I can't remember. I forget how many restaurants each one has, but I think in total there's 21 restaurants between the three. Grande has 8 restuarants and is the biggest from them all.

My favorite thing about the Grande is that it's on a peninsula

we were going to do 2 days @ Jade but then we would need to choose a lower room..so we just figured to do the entire stay @ the Grande

I did a lot of research into different places outside of St. Lucia, and in the end we decided on St. Lucia, specifically at Sandals, because we didn't want to think about a thing during our honeymoon and just relax as much as we want for 10 days. I've heard great things about Sandals. Some friends of mines have been to Sandals in other islands and had amazing experiences. I also read reviews on the sandals grande and a lot of people rave about it. There's of course the negative reviews - but I take those lightly compared to the thousand positive ones.

We originally were going to do Punta Cana - but I got too worried about the weather (May is their rainiest season), then Hawaii (but it was too expensive w/ a nice hotel + airplane, and with nothing else included), so our TA recommended St. LUcia and I'm so glad she did because otherwise I never would have considered it.

Yes! There are always negative reviews! You cant please everyone it seems! I went to Punta Cana in July and it was amazing, perfect weather everyday, but we want something different for our HM. Thanks alot for the info, we are def looking into it now!

Goodluck!!! Take a look at the weather also, not sure when you're going but just in case it's hurricane season, etc.
