I went to St. Lucia for my honeymoond and we flew direct from JFK to St. Lucia on American Airlines.
Be careful booking Air Jamaica direct from NY to St. Lucia...one of my co-workers did this last April and they cancelled the whole flight without telling them, so they missed out on their vacation....I originally booked a direct flight from Air Jamaica but after finding out that they are canceling a lot of flights, my travel agent said it would be best not to go with Air Jamaica because it had been happening so often.
