we planned our honeymoon and I was wondering if anyone knows how the weather is down there. Also I was hearing people talk about taking out insurance for the hurricane season. Is this something I should consider doing.

October is the end of hurricane season in the Caribbean so you might want to take insurance out just in case.

I think it has been 13 years since St Lucia had a hurricane. They are very far south-you should be fine.

We went there the end of september to the beginning of october and the weather was really nice. It did rain some days but didn't last long at all. If you are going to a sandles resort I think they have something that if there is a hurricane you get your money back or you get to stay at another resort for free.
