St. Lucia July Weather

Hello,
Just wondering if anyone has been to St. Lucia in July. We'd like to book our honeymoon at Sandals for a few days, then one of those resorts that is open air (missing fourth wall with a view), but are concerned about it being really hot. They say when you are in the mountains you get a nice breeze, but we are concerned about the heat.
