St Lucia Or Rivera Maya Help

FH& I are having a ruff time decided on where to go on our Honeymoon.Our two options are St Lucia or Rivera Maya @ The Royal Hideaway. Need some help making our choice. Can anyone give me help me make a decision?

Me too & my G/F went ther on her honeymoon & loved it . But i hear so many people talking so Highly of St Lucia

My friend loved St.Lucia too! But we both enjoy going out at night. So for us we knew Mexico was more for us. And Riveria Maya is not far from Cancun so theres alot of options.

we stayed at the Excellence Riviera Cancun in Riviera Maya and LOVED it!!!! we also met a couple who went to the Royal Hideway on their HM and loved that resort. just keep in mind it's hurrican season, but that affects both places. my vote is for RM!

We are going to Excellence for our HM! We know quite a few couples who went to this resort and a few others in the Riveria Maya and everyone loved that area. Haven't heard a single negative yet.

FH and I booked St. Lucia after months of research of all the different Islands and of course it was in our budget..... I cant wait, so excited!

I have to go with Riviera Maya. I've been there before. My FH and I LOVED IT. There's so much to do there.

Thanks for your input. I knew it was Hurricane season. So Mexico gets hit worse then St Lucia ?

I went to St. Lucia Grande Sandals for my honeymoon in January and LOVED it.. we had the best time..

We met so many great people as well as former bride ant n tilde.

rivera maya!!!!!! my friend just came back from her HM and she told me it's pure bliss.. and she went after another friend of ours went there for her 1 year anniversary..

I have been to both and I have to say you cant go wrong with either one. My personal favorite was St. Lucia. best trip ever! the people are so gracious and accomodating. Riviera Maya was a blast too but i felt it was more touristy than St. Lucia.

We're going to st. lucia, sandals, the regency. I have a friend who went there and loved it! but I also heard great things about Riveriera Maya. Whatever you choose you'll have a great time!

We just got back from RIviera Maya. It was alot of fun and there is so much to do. I think it depends what your looking for. I think the main difference is the night life between the two places. EIther one would be great im sure!

we are going during hurricane season and I was under the impression that after Aruba, St. Lucia was the next safest island to go to.

I'm really not an expert on any of this stuff though! I've heard great things about both, but we didnt really look at Rivera Maya.
