St. Lucia or Riviera Maya

Cant decide where to go for the HM, please help.

I voted for Riviera Maya, Mexico. We are staying at the Iberostar Resort in Riviera Maya, so I'm biased.

I vote for Riviera Maya but IM biased We stayed at the Aventura Spa Palace for 10 days/9Nights and it was INCREDIBLE!!!! We paid under 5000 for our trip which we booked through Expedia. The place was GORGEOUS and the food was absolutely delicious. And we werent expecting it to be too good since it was all inclusive. They have awesome excursions you can do if you and your FH like to do things like that. If you need more info, FM me.

I vote for St. Lucia! We just booked our trip there this week, so excited!
For us we wanted a place where we could veg out and be romantic, as well as hike and be active on the other days.

I voted for a cruise (that's what we are doing). I like it because we don't have to worry about much...everything is included from food to entertainment. And, there are so many things to do. The only thing we have to worry about is alcohol and the shore excursions. Our travel agent is awesome (Dawn from Cruise ONe) and got us a 100 on board credit (so that will pay for some of the alcohol - lol).

were staying at secrets in the riviera maya..my fh cousin went for her honeymoon last may and she said it was amazing...its a little pricey but i heard well worth it

i was just at secrets in riviera maya!!!! it was sooooooo nice!!!! and they are so nice to the honeymooners, they put banners on the doors and give them champaigne and stuff in the rooms... oh and the food was sooo good!

We're going to mexico for our honeymoon and we're staying at the Excellence Riviera Cancun. Getting to HM for one more day for the same amount of money that St. Lucia would have been.

i voted for st lucia.

we wanted to go somewhere we thought we'd never go on a typical vacation .... someplace a little more 'special'.

we're just not cruise people, so that wasn't an option for us.

I haven't been to either one but I will be in Riviera Maya in less than a month. If you are still looking for resorts, I recommend the Excellence and the Royal Hideaway. They're both gorgeous! We can't decide on one so we booked both. FM me if you have any questions.
