St Lucia v. Antigua

So we just started the honeymoon process and fell in love with Sandals all inclusive -- well the pictures anyway.

What do you girls think of St. Lucia? Antigua? We definitely want this to be the best vacation ever, but we can't break the bank. Want to keep it under $7000, including airfare.

Has anyone ever been to any Sandals resorts -- even if not in St Lucia or Antigua? Are they good???? Thanks!!!

(Also if anyone has other honeymoon suggestions for all inclusive amazing tropical resorts, please post!)

never been to sandals but have been to both islands and id pick st lucia hands down...

we're going to Antiqua specifically because they have gambling. Also we are staying in a brand new tower.

My travel agent also recommend The Royal Plantation in Jamaica which is a Sandals property. We really wanted the nightlife

i've heard great things about Antigua but have never personally been there....i WILL say that we went to St.Lucia for our HM(sandals regency) and we absolutely LOVED it...i dont have a bad thing to say about it i highly reccomend it to everyone...((siiighh)) i wanna go back

We were very disappointed with Sandals Regency, in spite of having heard only rave reviews. I don't know if we just happened to be there on an off week, but it did not meet our expectations at all. We also stayed at Ladera in St. Lucia, which I would absolutely reccomend to anyone in a heartbeat. Feel free to FM with any questions.
