St. Lucia (xpost from BHB!)

DH and I are going to Sandals Regency St. Lucia for a holiday vay-cay -- 8 days / 7 nights! We've been so antsy for another trip since we got back from our Bermuda HM (only 14 days ago )

Any tips / suggestions appreciated!!!! Never been to St. Lucia or a Sandals resort before!

Awesome!! Eat at La Toc for sure! It was DELICOUS! Also if you go over to the Grande eat at Toscannini's! Do the zip lining excursion also..it was AWESOME! Make sure you say hi to Kadeem and Jardin from the Drinkwaters!! (they are the playmakers there..SO fun!)

okay will do!!!!!! did you go to the Halycon at all? is it worth it? I've heard the Regency and the Grande have the most going on. But I'm psyched to hit all the beaches and of COURSE eat at alllllll the restaurants in St. Lucia!

we didnt go to the halcyon...i think the halcyon is the one with Kimonos which is a hibachi restaurant that was supposed to be great...we just were having so much fun at the grande we didnt want to leave lol..but we loved La Toc!

Kimonos is actually at the Regency where we're staying -- we're psyched!!!!! I am dying to go to there as well as Gordon's at the Grande -- and The Pier at the Halcyon :) so little time, so much to eat!

We ate at Gordon's...to be honest i wasn't thrilled...the food was good but not worth the amount of money you would pay! (it came with the room upgrade we got) also..if you do go make sure to eat inside...the bugs outside were INSANE and we ended up having to move into the 'indoor' part!

No...Gordon's is not part of the package..you have ot pay and I believe it is around 130 per person to eat there.

That is CRAZY!!!!!! I had no idea! DH and I were thinking of doing the private beach tented dinner for $130pp but for a regular restaurant, that's insane. So glad I have your feedback!!!! How is Sandals, overall? Rooms ok? We have a Grande Luxe Oceanview room with a balcony and a whirpool tub... I'm hoping it was worth the upgrade

We loved Sandals...we stayed at the Grande..and basically had one of each room category for the week we were there ending with the Rondoval suite...we would absolutely go back again!
