Is it really 1 1/2 hours (about) to get to the resort (Sandals)? I thought there were 2 airports there is one closer than the other? I'm not sure I could be in the car that long
TIA

Re: St. Lucia/Sandals
There are two airports but the one closer to the resorts does not usually have direct flights from NYC. So the trade off would be a layover. The drive was not bad- The island is beautiful.

Re: St. Lucia/Sandals
I am petrified of heights so no helicopter or long ride either for us..that's why we booked the Sandals in Antigua I know alot of people loved the St. Lucia resort but I'd freak out on the windy car ride or helicopter so I can't win if we went there lol

The trip from the airport was an hour and a half. It was a little scary with the winding roads and driving on the opposite side!

Just be careful which resort you pick. Ochos rio sandals is a two hour ride from the airport
