St. Martin/Marteen

Can someone recommed a hotel on the beach in St. MArtin/Marteen? ANything 'must see'?
Thinking splitting honeymoon between Anguilla (Cap Juluca) and St. Martin

La Samanna on the French side of St. Martin. FH surprised me with a trip there this summer and it was amazing. First class service all the way!! Do a google search there is a website.

I stayed on the French side at the Le Meriden, I loved it.

Thanks - I was looking at La Samanna, it looks nice. I am glad you liked the Meridian, I was thinking about it at first but then read some bad reviews about it (run down, no A.C., roaches) on a travel board.

I went to st martin for my honeymoon and on the whole it was great. the only thing i was unsatified with was the hotel. i stayed in the sapphire beach club on the dutch side. it was a beautiful place, but we had a roach in our bathroom. i'm sorry but for the amount of money being paid for these resorts, we should not have to be sujected to that. AND the lady at the front desk just brushed us off when we told her andsaid 'Oh dont worry its probably just a roach'!!!!!
