Re: St. Patricks of Huntington
I dont attend there but FH's cousin got married there in January and the priest they had was indian I believe. His english wasnt bad, wasnt great but he was very funny through the service and lightened things up. He was at the reception too, very nice man.

My friend is getting married there in August. I think the priest's name is Father Nate? I'll ask her.

Ack!!!! I didn't know this. He is supposed to be marrying us as well. He's a great guy, that is a major loss for that parish.... My dad is very active in the parish, but spends 6 mos down in Fla now (where he is at the moment). I'm going to call him, give him the 411 and see what he has to say and get back to you on this....

I haven't contacted Father Deinston to see what he is doing yet about the weddings he is set to do - I want to call but i am afraid he is overwhelmed at this point there must be a lot of people upset and not just brides - he made the parish -

Re: St. Patricks of Huntington
My sister got married there by Fr. Steve, he was great. Fr. Tom is the Indian priest, he's a very close friend of my parents, but you can't understand a word he says!!!

Re: St. Patricks of Huntington
I just called and No Fr Dennison will not be doing any weddings. He left a note with the receptionist saying that he can no longer keep up with the parish but not to worry that one of the other Fathers will be doing the ceremonies.

WHAT!!!!! This is now the second priest that left! First Father Steve was supposed to marry us then he left and then Father Deniston said he would marry us and now he is gone?????!!!!!!!! This is ridiculous!
