Has anyone been to a wedding at St Pauls Greek orthodox cathedral with the choir singing? We can't decided if we want the choir or just a soloist. Any suggestions?? also the next time the choir is scheduled for a wedding is May 9th. a little too late for us to decided.
THANKS!!!

Re: St Pauls Choir--Questions
I'm sorry I haven't but I have been in there and it is a beautiful catherdral - I am actually trying to decide if it is worth it to add the 350$ to have a choir at my ceremony at the cathedral of the incarnation down the street. One of my BM's has been begging me to let her sing so we are still on the fence. My personal feeling is that if you pick the right music it can really be beautiful - but it will depend on how much singing you want for your ceremony.

That's what we are thinking! For us the price for the choir is just a little more. i didn't know that this what going to be that difficult!

Re: St Pauls Choir--Questions
well it is 350 for the girls choir and I think 500 for the men and boys - I used to sing in the choir so I know they do a nice job but not sure it is worth it we are already paying the organist 350 and my friend wants to sing.

I didn't even realize that. I will have to ask the organist if it's men and women. for me it would be 500 for the choir and it's 200 for the organist. can't your friend sing with the organist? or is that added money for them to practice together?

Re: St Pauls Choir--Questions
Yes my friend can sing which is what we are thinking about - BUT he charges for playing at the rehearsal and if you are having him he must play at the rehearsal and he charges to practice with your soloist.
