I was originally going to have Deacon O'Connor do my ceremony but decided we wanted a priest to do the ceremony. Father Bruce Powers is leaving, does anyone know anything about Father Ken Zack?

Never heard of him. We were going to have Fr. Hurley but he is retiring.
We're kind of up in the air about it.
Have you been able to schedule your rehearsal yet?

Yes they let me schedule my rehearsal a little early because I have a bunch of people in the bridal party flying in from out of town.

They haven't allowed us to schedule yet. They told us not until 3 months before.

I heard the new pastor is supposed to be very nice...he was at St. Rose a few years ago. Don't know anything about Fr. Ken Zack though.
Have you thought about Fr. Al? He has a bit of an accent but can be very funny.

I think Fr. Al may have left. When we found out Fr. Hurley was leaving I asked about the priest with the accent and the secretary said that he had left.
Maybe it was a different one. (St. Rose isn't my church it is FH's so I do not attend.)

Maybe they thought you were talking about Fr. Andrzej? He has a polish accent and he left last year.
Just keep in mind that there is a Fr. Al and a Fr. Bal. Do NOT book Fr. Bal for your wedding. Every time I get him for Mass, he just looks annoyed that he's there and you certainly don't want him to give off that attitude for your wedding.

Father Al married my sister a few years ago and people said he gave the best homily at a wedding they had heard. He does have an accent but is very nice. We are having Deacon Flood marry us.
