St. Thomas Pre Cana for Interfaith Couples

We're supposed to go to pre cana tonight and tomorrow and something's come up.

Does anyone know when the next one is scheduled? The woman answering the phones at the church does not know and the woman who handled the pre cana scheduling is not home.

Which St. Thomas? St. Thomas the Apostle in West Hempstead?

Question... Why is it separate for interfaith couples? I have now gathered that this isn't St. Thomas the Apostle in WH b/c that's where FH and I are getting married... and they do not have separate pre cana.

Interesting!

Is it all night and all day? Maybe I can take your time and you can take ours in April?

Crap forget it, we are not interfaith.

We'll also be going to an interfaith pre-cana (FH is catholic, I'm lutheran)- the church that does it in Queens is Immaculate Conception in Douglaston.

Mosignor Lisante of St. Thomas in West Hempstead told us that there are two different pre canas that we can go to. One offers us a chance to talk about how we can introduce both faiths to our kids and one does not include that part. Not sure if that's why it's two separate days or not.

Well, anyway, we're now actually able to make the one tonight and tomorrow so we'll be there Dee. See you tonight.

Interesting. We're just doing ours in April at the regular one. I'm Catholic, but FH is not. (I believe he is interested in converting, though)
