What do you do that you hate?

I want a house and out of this HELL hole apart complex. It is soooo sad because I used to love my apartment . Oh well can't have it all I guess!

Re: Stacey, Mo and the night girls

I am a claims adjuster for an insurance company in lower manhattan...how much more boring can you get?

UGH...I feel your pain Jaime. This apartment is just too small for us...and my neighborhood is really changing...everyone I know has moved away...friends and family included. Pretty soon I will be the only one left in town...and Frank is stressed because he doesn't like it much here anymore and we've looked here and there at some houses, but how ridiculous are they? I mean you can't even get anything decent for $350,000...it's sad.

Re: Stacey, Mo and the night girls

I know exactly what you mean. We loved our apartment until 8 months ago and it started changing. 30 something kids moved in that don't know how to play without screaming. I don't mean normal kid screams, I mean SCREAMING. Door closed air conditioner and TV and still hear them like they are sitting next to me.

Then we got back from our honeymoon to find out they moved a family of 5 into the one bedroom above us. It is HORRIBLE. I have to sleep with a broom handle next to me because they are so loud!

We want to move so bad and can't touch anything yet. I didn't think that we would be in a position like this at our age and with our jobs. But knowing that so many are like this it makes it better. It has to change soon!

UGH...that sounds like a nightmare!!!!!!!!!! Sorry ! Do they get your broom messages? I'd bang so hard I'd probably put holes through the ceiling/floors.

We're considering moving out to NJ...maybe even PA. Some of my family moved to PA a few years ago and recently my Mom did too. We looked at brand new houses there a few months ago for $230,000...I'm talking brand new...and BIG and gorgeous! The only thing is that it would be a 2 hour commute to the city every day each way...S U C K S!!!

I'd be sad to leave here because it's where I grew up, but they make it really hard to live in this city now...

You know, I wish I could be a teacher...what grade do you teach?

Re: Stacey, Mo and the night girls

Frankie is talking about the houses in Pa also but I don't know if I could live that far from my Mom. I am a momma's girl! But I totally know what you mean.

I bang sometimes they bang back! There are A LOT of dents in our ceiling now. It is taking on a lovely dimpled look--LMAO!

I teach 7th grade. I am loving my babies this year. Last years group really made me wonder why I teach but I am in love again!

Re: Stacey, Mo and the night girls

Danielle Renee's makeup trial GTG is next weekend in a hotel suite in Plainview. Kathy from FYH will be there and so will a travel agent. It should be cool.

I have an appointment at Lillette's for my dress.
