Really needs to learn how to do business. She just informed me that she schduled someone for my date without me a having a trial first!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I went to her about 3 months ago with interest to book and unfortuately had to reschedule a trial due to a family emergency. Is that fair!?

It's not her fault someone else had a trial and booked her before you could.
She shouldn't have had other trials?

She could of told me someone else was interested in my date, and if that person was able to book a trial before me the other bride should of been told that I had needed to have a trial as well.
Hmmm maybe I'm being dramatic but I really had my heart set on using Stacy

UGH! thats annoying! I am waiting for her to get back to me right now. I had been emailing with her assistant and then she just stopped responding.... I am afraid she booked someone for my date also...

Re: Stacy from stylesonb
This happened to me with a makeup artist that I really loved. I was really upset and then realized that if the person would have told the other girl that they needed to wait for me to get a trial then the m/u artist could have possibly missed out on 2 people's business, the girl who wanted to book her and mine if I would have chosen someone else after my trial. So I couldn't really fault her for taking the business and she didn't really owe anything to me. So far makeup and hair has been the most frustrating to book.

Re: Stacy from stylesonb
i just have to say i understand what everyone is saying but i had a somewhat similar experience with her. I contacted her and asked if my date was available. she responded herself and said yes. i told her i wanted to book a trial. NOTHING for days then her assistant - not her this time - writes back and says 'stacy has a wedding the same day as yours but can still do you if you dont mind an assistant doing the rest of your party - that way she can probably make it on time. when do you want your trial?'
needless to say i didnt go for a trial with her.
i totally understand your disappointment! she doesnt seem to keep track of her bookings very well!

She should have told you someone else was interested.

I can see why you are upset, I would be too....but it's a business and there was no guarantee that you would book her even after your trial. Don't worry you'll find someone else that can do your make-up just as good, maybe better!

Yikes---thats frustrating. I've also been communicating with her assistant and just followed up again to book a trial.

Re: Stacy from stylesonb
Sorry that happened to you!!! When I first booked my trial with her she let me know that she had a potential wedding the same day as mine but because of our time frames she would be able to do both so I didn't really run into that problem. I have emailed quite a few times with her assistant and so far so good (knock on wood!). I do know that she is a VERY busy person ( I think i booked a trial a couple of months before it even happened) but I guess it couldve been nice to let you know just so you were aware.
